You’ll receive exceptional study-related medical care at no cost. However, not all participants will receive the study medication. If you do qualify, there’s still a chance you may be given a placebo – this helps ensure the reliability of the results.
Study length can vary from a few months to up to 5 years. The length of each study varies mainly due to differences in trial phase, how complex the trial is, enrollment speed, and the study’s specific research questions. Early-phase trials are shorter, while later phases take longer to assess effectiveness and long-term effects.
