Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It's a chronic disease where inflammation of the large intestine occurs and develops small open ulcers or sores. Symptoms of ulcerative colitis include diarrhea, rectal bleeding, and abdominal pain or cramping.

Eligibility Criteria

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis for at least 3 months
  • Experiencing symptoms and in a flare up
