Gastroparesis in Type I and Type II Diabetics

Gastroparesis is a condition that affects stomach muscles, which prevents the stomach from emptying properly. Symptoms of gastroparesis include nausea, vomiting, acid reflux, lack of appetite, and abdominal pain or bloating. Gastroparesis can affect nutrition and blood sugar, which is difficult to manage, especially for diabetics.

Eligibility Criteria

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Type I or Type II diabetic for at least 5 years
  • Symptoms of diabetic gastroparesis for at least 3 months
